Support Chamber Music for Everyone

About the Project

The Atlanta Chamber Players (ACP) have spent over 40 years bringing the intimacy of chamber music to Atlanta audiences. Chamber music is small ensemble classical music, and the ACP performs old and new music of the highest quality for audiences all across the region. Through its long-standing commitment to performing the music of living composers, the ACP has premiered nearly 80 new works to Atlanta audiences, propelling us to become a national leader in preserving chamber music for generations to come.

The ACP is raising funds for our public concerts and our outreach efforts. Double your dollars by donating to our campaign - the City of Atlanta will match your gift!

Building the next generation’s audience and increasing it accessibility is a cornerstone of our mission. Our outreach efforts focus on disabled & veteran communities, economically disadvantaged populations, and children who might otherwise not have access to music education.

During the 2017-2018 season, we performed for the general public on six occasions. Ticket sales cover only a fraction (less than 30%) of the costs to put on a concert, partly because of our dedication to keeping prices low to ensure the music is accessible to as many people as possible - tickets are just $20, with discounts for students and seniors. We held two free concerts as well; including our upcoming April 9th concert as part of the SoundNow Festival of Contemporary Music - and we have commissioned works by two Georgia composers this season alone.

Your gift helps the art form of chamber music to thrive and ensure it will still be here for generations to come. In April, we kick-off the 5th Cycle of the National Rapido! Composition Contest - a contest that sets out to discover outstanding new chamber works and enhances the careers of undiscovered American composers.

Music inspires us all, and concerts bring our community together. Please help us ensure that Atlantans can continue to Get Close to the Music!
