Your generosity will go a LOT further, thanks to the Power2Give gift match program sponsored by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County! Please help us provide the community with the high-quality artistic programming people in our region have come to know and love from ChorSymphonica.

A "Conversation Concert" is a unique event, where soloists, chorus and orchestra are employed to illustrate points of a pre-performance lecture.  In twenty minutes, we explore the musical and historical context of the programmed work, in order to make the composer’s efforts more accessible to our modern ears, and more relevant to our contemporary way of life. Following the introduction, we perform the entire work, uninterrupted.
For this program a special treat has been chosen: Bereite die Wege, bereite die Bahn, BWV 132 of Johann Sebastian Bach. A spectacular "Solo Cantata" with four outstanding soloists and the ChorSymphonica orchestra (no chorus for this cantata), performed in the beautiful space of St. Jane de Chantal Church. This is a musical and educational event not to be missed!  For more information visit: https://chorsymphonica.org/sacred-music-in-a-sacred-space/ or call (240) 888-1035.

Our performers, some of the most in-demand soloists in the region, include:
Melissa Jean Chávez, soprano
Janna Elesia Critz, mezzo-soprano
Joseph Regan, tenor
William Heim, bass
ChorSymphonica featuring
Wes Nichols, oboe
Regino Madrid, violin
Christopher Moehlenkamp, violoncello
Introduced and conducted by our Artistic Director and Conductor Richard Allen Roe.

Help us continue to produce these important, high-quality, free concerts in our community!
